Cookie Policy (EU)

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies DiffStudy (https://diffstudy.com, “the website”) uses, why, and how you can control them. It applies to every visitor. Where it describes consent, that applies to visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland, who are asked for consent before advertising or analytics cookies are placed.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Some are set by us (first-party); others are set by services we use, such as Google (third-party). We also use the word “cookies” for similar technologies such as local storage and scripts that read information from your device.

2. The categories we use

  • Functional. Needed for the site to work: caching, spam protection on the contact form, remembering your consent choice. These are placed without consent because the site does not work properly without them.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4, used to count visits and see which pages are read. IP addresses are anonymised by Google Analytics 4 by default. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these cookies are placed only if you consent.
  • Advertising. Google AdSense, which serves the advertisements on this site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland personalised advertising cookies are placed only if you consent.

4. Consent, and how to change your choice

If you visit from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google’s consent message is shown before advertising or analytics cookies are placed. You can accept, decline, or manage individual purposes. To change your choice later, reopen the consent message, or delete this site’s cookies in your browser and reload the page.

Outside those regions no consent message is shown. Advertising may still be personalised by Google according to its own settings; you can opt out at Google Ads Settings or at www.aboutads.info.

5. Controlling cookies in your browser

Every browser lets you delete cookies, block them, or ask before each one is set. See the Help section of your browser for the steps. Parts of the site may not work properly if all cookies are blocked, and cookies you delete will be placed again, subject to your consent, on your next visit.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know why your personal data is needed and how long it is kept, to access it, to correct or delete it, to withdraw consent you have given, to receive a copy of it, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
